Oat Chai Latte

Ingredients:

  • Steep 1 cup of your favorite chai tea ( we used Stash Tea Spice Dragon Red Chai Herbal Tea)
  • 1 tbsp dark maple syrup or date syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup oat milk or other plant-based milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk or cream  if you like extra creamy froth (optional!

    Instructions

    1. Steep your favorite tea for 4-8 minutes in 1 a cup of hot filtered water in your Xtrema saucepan. We used the traditions 1.5 quart for this recipe.

    2.Using a milk frother, high speed blender or milk steamer you are going to warm up the milk.

    3.Once your tea has steeped and is nice and hot remove the tea bag and pour tea between two mugs. Pour warmed milk of choice between two cups.

    4.Generously sprinkle the nutmeg and cinnamon on top and stir into latte.

    5.Pour maple or date syrup into latte and stir and till well blended.

    6.If you want extra foam/froth, pour coconut milk or cream into your high-speed blender or use your milk frother to whip up some extra cream for the top! Enjoy this cozy warm drink!
